Haugesund Theatre
Haugesund Theatre is a Norwegian regional theatre, based in Haugesund, with activity all over the northern part of the county of Rogaland.
Haugesund Theatre was established in 1986 and was the first publically funded professional project theatre.

Haugesund Theatre mainly presents its own productions, but also hosts some visiting performances.
Haugesund Theatre rents permanent offices, rehearsal facilities and performance facilities in the culture building called Festiviteten in Haugesund, but the theatre also produces and tours a larger area.
Haugesund Theatre is supported by the Norwegian government, the county of Rogaland and the municipality of Haugesund.
Birgit Amalie Nilssen has led Haugesund Theatre from 2005. Before her, Sverre Waage led the theatre from 2001 to 2004.
