Bergens Tidende:
"Christine Guldbrandsen is wonderful in the main part and makes one of the best vocal performances our critic has ever experienced by a Norwegian musical artist."
BA:
"Her clear light voice is perfect for the role."
Stavanger Aftenblad:
"Musical joy."
Haugesunds Avis:
"In Haugesund Theatre's production started the whole thing started with the golden voice Christine Guldbrandsen (Maria) stood in front of the state curtain and performed the title song all by herself. Guldbrandsen sung her way into many hearts with her voice magnificence in the song Alvedans during The Eurovision Song Contest a few years ago. During the Haugesund opening she managed to gather even more votes. A wonderful voice, so warm and clear. There and then I understood this would be a good evening."
Rogalands Avis:
"But nothing can measure up to seeing the actors live. Christine Guldbrandsen sings better than most people, and Espen Hana is perfect in the role of Captain von Trapp, as the strict boss and as the soft man with the guitar and Edelweiss. Irene Halseid is priceless as the housekeeper of the von Trapps', and the local choir clad in nun's habits does a solid effort. Sound of Music at Sola kulturhus is a dream for the audience, too!"
Solabladet:
"Christine Guldbrandsen in the role of Maria is just as charming and beautiful as she should be. The singing bird from Bergen impressed with her voice magnificence and she convinced us that she also master the art of theatre."
