The Saga of King Half
The Saga of King Half (2019) is a planned theatre production by Haugesund Theatre, Lars Henrik Aarnes, the municipality of Karmøy and Opplev Avaldsnes, based on the Viking saga by the same title. The production will be performed in Naustet, Vikinggården, Avaldsnes.
Lars Henrik Aarnes plays the role of king Half.

"Aged only 12, king Half embarked on a Viking raid with his feared warriors. Half was a man of honour, who looked his enemies into the eye when killing them. Honour and respect were important to him not just in battle, but also in society, among men and women. After 18 years, he returns home, but things take an unexpected direction."
