Home

Home was a theatre production by The National Theatre, produced in 1971, and based on a play by David Storey.

Kirsten Sørlie directed it.

Home plays out in a place that is most likely a mental hospital. The piece is part of the absurd tradition after Samuel Beckett. The National Theatre's production of Home was later broadcast by Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's TV theatre division.

Home was also performed as celebration of Ella Hval's 40th anniversary as an actress October 28 1972.

Photos by Frits Solvang from the production Home can be found at Digitalt Museum.
