Steirischer Herbst

Steirischer Herbst is an annual international festival for contemporary art in the state of Styria (German: Steiermark) in Austria. The festival was founded in 1968 and is counted among the oldest and most tradition-rich avant-garde festivals of Europe. The festival includes different art genres in collaboration, such as theatre, visual art, film, literature, dance, music and performance. The festival is a producing festival with many original works, worldwide premieres and works made on commission.
