Unfamiliar with the ruling dance conventions, Baktruppen embarked on a collaboration with the choreographers Ingun Bjørnsgaard, Eva Meyer-Keller (Germany) and Kyrre Texnæs, plus Karstein Solli. In three groups with each their choreographer Baktruppen studied dance in Uganda, in Røros (Norway) and in Oslo (Norway). The diverging experiences were joined together and Baktruppen distilled the whole thing down to a concentrate of knots in which members of Baktruppen, wearing black and white tricots, move through three entries, two sorties, one turning point and 40 minutes with one trip under the mat they dance on. Baktruppen pulls and pushes in and out of different knotted, twirled and braided patterns in which the art is to stick together, for better and worse.
Music: Gustav Mahlers Adagietto, streched.

Maria Lindh-Garreau, review titled "Violent murder for fun on the life of entertainment", Dagens Nyheter 07.04.2003:
"It is like the sculptures of Vigeland are moving. Images of human connections for the audience to associate over. Images of the humans’ absolute conditions of living, doing and undoing ties to others from umbilical cord to the grave."
Writer unknown, review titled "Another dance with Baktruppen", Bergens Tidende, 06.11.2002:
""Identitanz" really is another dance. Light years from The Swan Lake! But beautiful it was, funny and grotesque."
Writer and date unknown, Teatertidsskriftet Visslingar och Rop (Swedish Theatre Magazine):
"Baktruppen, the conceptual, Norwegian group of artists, is indisputable the best of their kind in Scandinavia. Don't miss Do&Undo, a tribute to body tights.»
