Pain Solution
Pain Solution presents performance and shows based on fakir practices and body control. Håvve Fjell is the founder, artistic leader and for the time being only actor in Pain Solution. Inspired by rituals, physical theatre and sideshow Pain Solution has created an expression of its own. The core elements of their performances are: fire, glass, needles, knives, hooks and other potential pain devices. A search for the aesthetic in the grotesque, the beautiful in the raw and the positive in pain make the foundation for the productions.

Pain Solution celebrated its 10 year anniversary with publishing the book Ten Years of Pain November 12 2003. In January 2007 Pain Solution started its own fakir school, in which three students go through a three year education led by Håvve Fjell.
Sideshow is a niche genre within the field of performing arts. The challenge is breaking down the prejudices in the audience. Pain Solution considers it a mission to bring sideshow to the people and to strengthen the genre which was at a time powerfully represented within the working classes as well as in high society.
