Olaf Liljekrans

Olaf Liljekrans is a play by Henrik Ibsen (1857). The play had its world premiere at Det Norske Theater (now called The National Stage) January 2 1857. At the time, Ibsen worked as an instructor at the theatre, and he oversaw the production himself.

The play is based on the legend about the "Jostedal Grouse"; a girl who survived Black Death.
