Othello

Othello (1963) was a theatre production by The National Stage, based on the play by William Shakespeare.

Ellen Isefiær directed it.

The title role was interpreted by Earle Hyman. This was his first interpretation of the role in Norway. He later played Othello for The Norwegian Theatre and for The Norwegian Touring Theatre.

Anne Gullestad played the role of Desdemona.

Per Theodor Haugen played the role of Iago.
