Breath and four

Breath and four (1980) was a theatre production by The Norwegian Theatre, based on five short dramatic texts by Samuel Beckett. The production was staged at Scene 2 in the facilities The Norwegian Theatre used at the time, located in Rosenkrantzgaten.

Bjørn Endreson directed it, and had also selected the texts.

Beckett had originally prohibited the staging of the texts Rough for Theatre I and Rough for Theatre II, but Endreson was given a special permit to stage them. Breath and four was the fourth Beckett production Bjørn Endreson directed for The Norwegian Theatre.
