A Reputation Left Behind

A Reputation Left Behind (1976) was a theatre production by The Norwegian Theatre, based on the novel by Olav Duun, in a theatrical adaption by Tormod Skagestad. The production was performed in the facilities the theatre used at the time, located in Stortingsgaten.

Tormod Skagestad directed it. He received Norwegian Critics' Award for theatre for the production.

Harald Heide Steen played the role of Torberg.

Bjørn Skagestad played the role of Brynjar.

A Reputation Left Behind was part of the celebration of the 100-year anniversary for the birth of Olav Duun. Earlier the same year, The Norwegian Theatre had staged Duun's novel Fellow Man.
