Dance for You
Dance for You by Dans & Toner (1993) was a music and dance concept for youth.
At the webpage of Dans & Toner the following, among other things, is written about Dance for You:
"Dance for You, until now seen by more than 50 000 young people, is a 'concept performance': By that we mean that it is continuously changing - a 'live' performance in the double meaning of the term. The frame is stable, but the choreographies and music within the frame change according to contemporary themes.
Today's version emphasises the theme 'identity'. So this version of the production is different from the one we performed four years ago. The basic idea is to convey dance as an artistic expression to especially composed music with different dance styles. (…)
The composer is the piece's 'maestro', using humour and joy in the interaction with the audience. He improvises a musical piece onsite, based on four notes given him by the audience."
