Utsikt* (View)
Utsikt* (View) (2020) is a dance theatre production by Katma in collaboration with The Arctic Theatre. The production was performed in kindergartens in and around the Tromsø area from August 28, 2020. The audiences of children sat safe from the risk of infection inside their kindergartens, looking out the windows where the performance was performed in the playground outside.
Concept and direction by Katrine E. M. Strøm.
Utsikt was loosely inspired by the production Bæ, bæ lille* (Bah, bah little) (2016).

"An eager birthday child who prepares for a party even though friends can't be there, a naughty brass band girl who is unable to go to practice, and a child who dreams of travelling - even though it is not allowed.
In the performance, situations the children will recognise are played out, topical in the time we now live in. Cancelled plans and broken dreams - but also relief at all that we won't have to do."
