Differencing from Cirque du Soleil Cirkus Cirkör has moved towards performances of vaudeville and variety, preferring smaller and more intimate stages and locations.
Besides orienting itself towards smaller stages Cirkus Cirkör often mixes the circus acts with street art, rock video aesthetics and other forms of scenic expressions such as theatre, dance and film.
Cirkus Cirkör currently tours the world on a regular basis, running several productions parallelly. Its eventually famous base and school Subtopia is situated in the suburb of Alby, south of Stockholm.
