Krokodillen* (The Crocodile)
Krokodillen* (The Crocodile) is a short text by Maria Tryti Vennerød, written due to a challenge from Ibsen Theatre during the celebration of the Ibsen jubilee in 2006. The foundation was the end of Ibsen's When We Dead Awaken: "I am free! I am free! I am free! No more life in the prison for me! I am free as a bird! I am free!"**
*Not yet translated into English. The title within parentheses is the Norwegian title's literal meaning.
**English translation by William Archer.
