Ghosts. Digital version (2020) was a digital theatre production by The Norwegian Touring Theatre. It was based on the play by Henrik Ibsen. The digital production was a recording of the theatre production Ghosts from 2017. The digital version was made available through The Norwegian Touring Theatre's digital platform at the theatre's website during the Corona crisis the spring of 2020. The recording was openly accessible in the time after it was first released, and the access was free.
Bentein Baardson directed it.
Gjertrud Jynge played the role of Helen Alving.
The recording was made by Applaus Scene December 3 2017.

The family is the same way. It decides who we will be. No matter how much we try to free us from the actions of the generations before us.
This is what Ghosts - Ibsen's perhaps very sharpest and most gripping play - is about.
When young Oswald Alving returns home after his father's death, the reunion isn't the happiness his mother has been looking forward to. Oswald is incurably ill, and he blames himself and the happy life of an artist he has led in Paris. But Mrs. Alving, who has never told the truth about her husband, realises that the reason is something else. Past has caught up with her, and with it, the shame in everything she has kept hidden."
