    More about Nothing

At the website of Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre) the following, among other things, is written about Nothing:

    "A play for youth.

'Nothing matters. So nothing is worth doing.'

With these words, Pierre-Anthon leaves the classroom to sit in a plum tree. The class stays behind. Because of the yells they hear from Pierre-Anthon in the tree every morning, they slowly lose faith in school, the future and the meaning of life. They decide to prove him wrong.

In a closed sawmill, they start gathering the things that really matter to them. They put the things in a pile. The audience sits within the sawmill and witness the class' gradually desperate struggle to get Pierre-Anthon down from his tree. But is he right? Isn't there anything that matters?"
