Tre Røyster* (Three Voices) by Liv Heløe, Kim Atle Hansen and Gyrid Axe Øvsteng was performed in The Norwegian Theatre the spring of 2003, as the final of the two-year Pilot Project for Playwrights (2001-2003). Tre Røyster consisted of the one-act plays Avkom* (Offspring), In a Shop and Linedans* (Tightrope Walking).
The Pilot Project was an educational project for playwrights, in collaboration between The National Theatre, The Norwegian Theatre, The Open Theatre (Det Åpne Teater) and The National Academy of Theatre, Oslo.

In a Shop by Liv Heløe:
A has left her husband and applies for a job in a shoe store. With her help the customers as well as the employer find out what they long for. Does she have to leave all over again, or has she gotten to where she was headed?
Avkom* (Offspring) by Kim Atle Hansen:
In an old house by a fiord in Southern Norway live Njål and Kirsten. They are just married and have moved from a dangerous city to create a harmonic future for themselves. It is autumn. It will be winter.
Linedans* (Tightrope Walking) by Gyrid Axe Øvsteng:
Line is about to die. Next to her deathbed stand her parents Var (literally: Cautious) and Streng (literally: Strict) and the boyfriend Finn (a Norwegian name, as well as the word for find). The latter three are all warring their own and the others’ relationships to the living and dying Line.
