"Selma is a nine-year-old orphan. Her highest wish is to have a family. This, she writes in a letter she sends Santa Claus. The letter finds its way to Santa's realm, called Snowfall, and eventually Selma gets there, too, even though Snowfall is not accessible for ordinary people. But perhaps Selma isn't quite ordinary?
Selma hasn't spent much time in Snowfall before things become dramatic. Santa is suddenly gone, and other forces rule. If Selma and her friends can't find Santa, all the good things he stands for will disappear, and Christmas is in danger. Snowfall is a classic fairytale, in which we follow our hero Selma, and her journey towards those she belongs with."
