"This autumn's musical is based on the well-known movie musical from 1952, starring Gene Kelly in one of the leading roles.
Singin' in the Rain tells the story of Don Lockwood, the silent movie star who has everything a man can dream of - fame, popularity and a romance with his co-star Lina Lamont. With his comedy sidekick and best friend, Cosmo, they rule in the movie business and the celebrity press.
But ongoing rumours in the movies about the possibility to synchronise sound and image, which will absolutely revolutionise the movie industry, make the silent movie stars nervous. When it is revealed that the voice of Lina Lamont sounds more or less like nails towards a blackboard, Don Lockwood and Cosmo start searching for alternative actresses who may borrow her a voice.
The selection is made: The beautiful, unavailable Kathy Selden, a talented actress who makes a living as a showgirl while hoping for theatre work."

"They are young. They are lively, and they dream of making it big in showbiz. Cosmo Brown (Stian Blipp), Don Lockwood (Atle Pettersen) and Kathy Selden (Charlotte Brænna) make up the trio at the centre of the autumn's jolly onstage daydream. Singin' in the Rain is a vital fantasy of a time that likely never really were, at least not as harmonious as here, as energetic and as merry, as charming and as playful. (...)The show quotient is high, and the strongest the star lustre shines from Stian Blipp."
