Hansel and Gretel
Hansel and Gretel (2003) was an opera production by Musikteatern i Värmland in collaboration with The Norwegian National Operea, Kilden Theatre (at the time still known as Agder Theatre) and Opera Sør.It was based on the opera by Engelbert Humperdinck (music) and Adelheid Wette (libretto), in turn based on the Brothers Grimm fairytale. The production had its premiere in Kristiansand, prior to being performed in The Norwegian National Opera's facilities in Folketeaterbygningen.
Vernon Mound directed it.
Isa Katharina Gericke and Hege Høisæter sung and acted in the title roles.
