The Wife - Kristin Lavransdatter (1961) was a theatre production by The National Stage, based on the novel by Sigrid Undset, in a theatrical adaption by Tormod Skagestad.

Bjarne O. Andersen directed it, based on the direction Tormod Skagestad did for The Norwegian Theatre in 1960.

Anne Gullestad played the role of Kristin.

Georg Løkkeberg played the role of Erlend. He had interpreted the same role at The Norwegian Theatre the year before.
