Les Rendezvous - Hedda - The Lady and the Fool
Les Rendezvous - Hedda - The Lady and the Fool (1978) was a ballet production by The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet. The production was performed in The Norwegian Opera's facilities in Folketeateret. The evening's program consisted of three ballets:
Les Rendezvous, choreography by Frederick Ashton, music by Daniel Francois Aubert.
Hedda, after the play Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen, choreography by Kari Blakstad, music by Ragnar Søderlind. Toni Herlofsen and Marte Sæther danced the title role. This ballet was a world premiere.
The Lady and the Fool, choreography by John Cranko, music by Giuseppe Verdi.
With this production, The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet celebrated its 20th anniversary, November 2 1978.
