"What happened to Norway on the way from Reformation in 1537 to Eidsvoll in 1814? What took place during these dark centuries? Or were these years not dark at all, but filled with light and hopes for the future? You don't know? Don't despair. Yet again Statsteatret comes to the rescue.
Welcome to a time when patriotism was not yet invented. Welcome to a journey in religion, riches, language, sex and slavery. We meet a mysterious Danish theatre troupe on its way between Norwegian fjords to salvage frozen souls from Catholic doom. Luther is the new wine. A young Norwegian man signs on, and embarks on a journey he will not soon forget."
