Lindås - Eirik Fauske and family (2012) was a production by Eirik Fauske.
Lindås is located in Western Norway, some 50 kilometres north of Bergen and some ten kilometres south of Norway's largest oil refinery - Statoil Mongstad. This is where the Fauske family settled in 1982.

Lindås by Eirik Fauske is about family, about Norway and about oil.
During the years the Fauske family has lived in Lindås, Norway has grown devilishly rich, and a large part of the income has stemmed from the refinery near Lindås, where several Fauske family members have worked.
Lindås is a family reunion and an excavation, it is a desperate wish for proximity to what will forever be gone.
With this story the performing artist Eirik Fauske takes another step in his examination of the past. Fauske has worked like an archaeologist, and the personal text is directly connected to his own background. At the same time it is a staging of several other stories: The history of oil, the story about the family, about growing up and of departing.
