Long Fuelled Session

At the webpage of Black Box Teater the following was written about Long Fuelled Session by Namik Mackic:

"In interaction with different objects, through more or less purposeful actions, they merge with the things, which might as well be the focal point of the performance.

Whereas it is hard to hear one's own language from the outside without recognising opinions already known, Long Fuelled Session translates a deterritorialised experience. This may take place in an airport, when one after a long journey meets one's own language as a distant cackle or noise, sounds without meaning. Such a hyper-cultural moment becomes the basis of an unlearned language onstage, in which micro dramas play out through the performers' adjustment and opposition to the objects.

Long Fuelled Session builds on strategies developed for Salting the Tail (performed at Black Box Teater the autumn of 2010). This examined the stage as part of a system of obedience, in which little or nothing was said, but everything implied. Objects and actions remodel each other. Image after image in multi-linear course of action, in which the foundation is rather the similarity between humans and objects than the differences.

This presumption is now brought up to date in a humorous reflection upon youthful search for freedom in a transnational culture of time off."
