The spring program of BIT Teatergarasjen 2001 writes the following about Blend/Verk by Kreutzerkompani:
"Eva-Cecilie Richardsen and HC Gilje worked together in a series of productions towards the end of the 1990es, at the time under the company name of Demodans.
With Kreutzerkompani the two have produced a new production this spring, combining dance, video and music. A continuously dissolvable and dynamic room makes the frame surrounding a world of hallucinations, fiction and blindness.
The presentation of virtual walls with projections on large, transparent plastic plates, create the impression of hallucinations. The constant and real is interwoven into a disturbing optical deception."
The company used the Norwegian-language title Blend/Verk also when performing the production for international audiences. Blendverk means deception or concealment. Split into two words, it can also mean Black-out/Work.
