Menneskerotta* (The Human Rat)

Menneskerotta* (The Human Rat) by Karlsvogna Theatre opened in The Open Theatre (Det Åpne Teater) the autumn of 2006. Menneskerotta was a theatrical monologue revolving around inflicting pain on other living beings and the consequences of it. Pain and suffering are parts of the relentless necessity of all evolution, morally and ethically. But the principle of the evil is wanting or wishing to transfer the pain to others rather than handling it as it is.

Menneskerotta* (The Human Rat) by Karlsvogna Theatre sprang out from a research experiment in which the laboratory rats are inflicted with human cells as an experiment. The aim is to exterminate illness. But the experiment has unexpected results. The rat evolves, developing human features to the degree of becoming a mutant. This is what happens to the rat. But what happens to the human, in such an experiment?
