Off the Wall

Off the Wall is a production made by Kulturmenyen (the cultural administration) of the county of Oppland, Hedmark Touring Organization (ToH) in collaboration with The National Touring Exhibitions Norway, Concerts Norway and The National Touring Network for Performing Arts. Off the Wall is a cross-cultural project focusing on a visible and highly alive cultural expression: Street culture.

In Off the Wall two rappers and an actor meet for a challenging conversation about tagging, graffiti and the relationship between sub-culture and authority. The effects in use are battle rap, hip hop and performance.

Skranglebein is a text writer and rapper. Nils m/Skils is Norwegian Champion in freestyle rap. Both have for the past few years toured Østfold with writing workshops for youth under the direction of The Cultural Rucksack. Torbjørn Davidsen is an actor and a director. He is educated within theatre in Denmark and has worked with the company De Utvalgte for a decade.
