The Priest and His Servant Balda

The Priest and His Servant Balda by The Puppetry Company Kattas Figurteater Ensemble is based on the Pushkin fairytale about the bad priest and the smart Balda, a Russian version of the Ash Lad. In this production shadow theatre, puppetry, acting, animated movies and music are combined.

The Priest and His Servant Balda was performed during the Wasbe festival in Killarney in Ireland. The production was made in collaboration between The Puppetry Company Kattas Figurteater Ensemble, Sandnes Mediaproduksjoner and Nanset Wind Ensemble.
