In House by Richard Maxwell, produced by Verk Produksjoner AKA Verk Productions silent confrontation between fates made strange and disoriented is described, in which the exchanges of words are broken into loose fragments, almost the way one overhears a conversation in a café or aboard the train.
On the webpage of Verk Produksjoner AKA Verk Productions the following is written about House:
"We wanted to work further with a dramatic text. House had been in our drawers for a long time and we liked its seemingly simple language. In the play was a role for a ten year old, and it turned out that Jonas, the son of Per Platou, was perfect for it. With his experience from school theatre he trumped us all. Jonas carried with him what we searched for as he kept pointing out the corporal presence onstage aside the role.
Evaluation: We experienced House as a demanding performance for the audience and the performers. It was not the kind of production to take the audience by storm. The reactions were two-part, some followed the humour and the minimal universe we had build all the way, whereas others were more uncertain about it."
The production House by Verk Produksjoner AKA Verk Productions was supported by Arts Council Norway and The Audio Visual Fund.

"From the first moment Maxwell plants a mood of disturbance on stage. The lines are cool and barely in touch with each other."
Jørgen Alnæs, Dagsavisen, 19.mars 2005. http://www.dagsavisen.no/kultur/article276656.ece 24/1-11
"A story at many levels in the intersection between theatre and performance, unfortunately blemished by unusually poor translation from English."
Amund Grimstad, May 4 2005.
