Touching Point
Touching Point by Stellaris Dance Theatre and Flow Productions was inspired by a quote from Finnish Vuokko Koistinen. In Touching Point dancers from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Russia came to search for a contact area they could have in common.

Stellaris Dance Theatre and Flow Productions produced the dance production Touching Point in collaboration.
"Miten hellästi sinä kosketit ja kuitenkin kaikki minussa järkkyi" ("How softly you touched me and yet it shook everything in me") the Finnish writer/poet Vuokko Koistinen has written.
To Touching Point every one of the involved came with his/her background, roots and values. Despite the differences and diverging perspectives they were still able to find a common rhythm. Inspired by meetings and time they created Touching Point, a production about meeting, seeing and letting oneself be affected by other people.
Touching Point by Stellaris Dance Theatre and Flow Productions was supported by Nordic Culture Fund, Nordic Culture Point, National Council for Dance, Oulun Valistustalo Oy, Arts Council of Oulu Province. The 2009 tour was supported by Stellaris Dance Theatre and The Arts Council of Finland.
