Flow Productions

Flow Productions is a dance production company founded in Oulu, Finland, in 2006. The company produces the works of two recognized dance artists, Maria Littow and Pirjo-Yli-Maunula, and offers production and mentoring services also for other artists, productions and various projects.

Flow Production works with dance in a local, a national as well as an international dimension.

The 2010 premieres were Elegy by Pirjo Yli-Maunula and guitarist Joonas Widenius, Arki alkaa, oletko valmis? by Maria Littow, Here to stay by Melissa Monteros, Wojchiech Mochniej, Pirjo Yli-Maunula and Jukka Huitila and Hilpeät Elitisit by Jaana Klevering and Pirjo Yli-Maunula.

Furthermore Pirjo Yli-Maunula was mentoring the piece Slapstick, Spalstick! by Vaatu Kalajoki and Pauliina Tyni. She also danced in Reijo Kela´s installation work Jokinainen (River Woman).

In the year of 2010 Flow was supported by Oulu city, National Council for Dance and Arts Council of Finland.

Production services:
Flow Productions offers production services for artists, artist groups, projects and various events. For instance Pirjo Yli-Maunula has produced a great number of dance works since 1982, at Oulu Dance Studio, JoJo – Oulu Dance Center and at Flow Productions among others. In addition, she has wide experience of producing various festivals, events, tours and galas. Based on each individual case and contract, production assignments can consist of arrangements for financing and co-operation partners, management of finances and practical issues of the project as well as of communications and marketing.
