Andy Smith has cooperated with the English writer and actor Tim Crouch, and has (with Karl James) co-directed the prize-awarded performances An Oak Tree and ENGLAND. The autumn of 2009 Smith/James directed Crouch' play The Author at Rhe (AKA just The Author) at Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Upstairs.
