Henie Onstad Art Centre

Henie Onstad Art Centre (HOK) was established in 1968 after a donation from the collectors Sonja Henie and Niels Onstad.

The choice to call it Art Centre, rather than Museum, was deliberate, aiming to signal that HOK was to be not only a keeper of a strong modern European core collection, but also an experimental producer of art.
