Västanå Teater
Västenå Teater was established in 1972 under the name of Sprattelgubbarna. In 1985 the name was changed to Västenå Teater.
Västenå Teater is one of the largest summer theatres in Sweden, and during wintertime it is a touring theatre. Since 2009 the theatre has been a regional theatre for the county of Värmland, and with that, a county institution. Västenå Teater is located in Sunne. During winter Västanå Teater tours with its Mongol nomad tent, and during summer the theatre performs in its home venue BerättarLadan.
Västanå Teater calls itself the little theatre with the big visions.
