Oslo National Academy of the Arts

Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHIO) is the largest art college in the country, enrolling approximately 500 students, employing approximately 200 employees, plus 900 teachers/lecturers hired on a per hour or per project basis. The college’s objective is to educate critically reflecting and experimenting artists and designers on a high international level.

KHIO offers three year long bachelor studies, two year long master studies plus yearlong studies, and offers research fellowships as part of The National Norwegian Artistic Research Fellowships Programme.
