"Boxiganga means - in direct translation - "a traveller in inner meaning". Boxiganga Performance Teater works with originally minimalist dance theatre, directed towards the image world behind the words. This is visual theatre inspired by dance (Butoh and Nô), visual art and film.
The company's expression can be described as sculptural performance - Body Art - with the performers in the role of image-carrying performers rather than actors and dancers."
