More

Oslo Culture Night was arranged for the first time in 2005.

Culture Night is an international concept, starting in Lund, Sweden, in 1984. Copenhagen was inspired by Lund and arranged its first Culture Night in 1993. Since then the concept has spread across and beyond Europe. Berlin has its Lange Nacht der Museen, Paris its Nuit Blanche and Rome its Notte Bianca. Metropolises such as Tel Aviv, São Paulo and Chicago also have arranged Culture Nights in recent years.
