Per, Pål, Kari og Anne leker hele den lange dagen* (Per, Paal, Kari and Anne play all the long day) is a short text by Jesper Halle, written after a challenge from Ibsen Theatre due to the Ibsen Year 2006. The starting point was the end of Ibsen’s When We Dead Awaken - "I am free! I am free! I am free! No more life in the prison for me! I am free as a bird! I am free!"**
