St. John's Night
St. John's Night is a play by Henrik Ibsen (1852). The original title in Norwegian was Sancthansnatten (current spelling: Sankthansnatten).
The play had its world premiere onstage January 2 1983, at Det Norske Theater in Bergen. Ibsen worked as an instructor at the theatre at the time, and he personally oversaw the production. Read more about the world premiere here.
