Two Friends is a play by Gunnar Staalesen, based on the novel by the same title by Amalie Skram. Two Friends is the second volume of her four-volume cycle The People of Hellemyr. The original titles in Norwegian are To venner and Hellemyrsfolket.

The People of Hellemyr Production

The People of Hellemyr (2014) was a musical theatre production by The National Stage, based on the novel by Amalie Skram, in a version by Gunnar Staalesen and Johan Osuldsen (text) and Julian Berntzen (music). The production was performed at the theatre's main stage.
