Weight
Weight (2018) was a theatre production by Demian Vitanzas Fiksjoner. Weight was based on a text for the stage by Demian Vitanza. The production had its world premiere during the theatre festival in Fjaler September 16, 2018. The production also was part of The Ibsen Festival at The National Theatre the same month.
Simon K. Boberg directed it.
Demian Vitanza received The Norwegian Ibsen Award AKA The Ibsen Prize 2019 for Weight.

Weight was supported by Arts Council Norway, The National Theatre, The Fund for Performing Artists, The Audio Visual Fund and Norwegian Centre for New Playwriting (NCNP).
From the description in the playbill:
"Weight is two stage poems, one from before the start of life, the other from after the end of life. One is seen from the perspective of the plants, the other from space. Love and longing force us into these perspectives, because one will never stop searching for someone one has loved and lost."
The text was performed as monologues by the actor Terje Strømdahl and the ten-year-old Oline Flæte Modalsli. The performance bordered on the concert format, musically developed by Nils Martin Larsen and Bendik Kjeldsberg, who also performed live onstage.
