Die Fledermaus (The Bat)

Die Fledermaus (The Bat) (1941) was an operetta production by The National Theatre, based on the operetta by Johann Strauss the younger (music), Karl Haffner (libretto) and Richard Genée (libretto).

It was directed and choreographed by Gerda Ring and Per Aabel.

Aase Bye sang and played the role of Adéle. She had interpreted the same role for The National Theatre in 1931.

Randi Heide Steen sang and played the role of Rosalinde.

Lauritz Falk sang and played the role of Gabriel von Eisenstein.
