Reply to a Letter from Helga
Reply to a Letter from Helga (2019) was a theatre production by Hordaland Theatre, based on the novel by Bergsveinn Birgisson, in a theatrical adaption by Stig Amdam. The production was performed in the theatre's venue Logen and on tour with The Norwegian Touring Theatre.

"The life of the proud sheep farmer Bjarne goes towards its end. But before he can start his last journey, he needs to confront himself, the choices he made, the life he led and the life he didn't dare living. It becomes a juicy story about love and struggle, erotic memories mixed with tales of hidden bodies, short-legged rams and the day the Farmall tractor arrived.
The Icelandic success novel Reply to a Letter from Helga by the Bergen-based Bergsveinn Birgisson has been translated into several languages and was nominated for Nordic Council's Literature Prize in 2012. It now becomes a theatre production at Hordaland Theatre, with two of the leading actors in Norway, Helge Jordal and Ragnhild Gudbrandsen."
