Fendelhorgens flokk* (The Flock of Fendelhorgen) by Alter Ego, Kenneth Dean Productions and Nordland Visual Theatre doesn’t start well. Uno, who lives in a suitcase, is in the shower when the audience enters and he doesn’t discover the people before he is done with his morning cleansing. After having come to his senses, he finally manages to perform his fairytale, called Den Foruroligende Forhistorien Til Den Forferdelige Fortellingen Om Fiolinspilleren Finagel Og Hans Redselsfulle Reise Gjennom Det Dype Berg Til Sølvkongens Skinnende Silverslott, Som Skildrer Det Selsomme Sagnet Om Selveste Silverdalskongen Og Sølve Den Sæle Hans Sønn, Og Den Striden De Stred Mot Den Forhatte Flokken Av Fendelhorgformede Fryktens Figurer I: Slaget om Silverdalen!* (The Disturbing Prehistory to the Terrible Story about the Violinist Finagel and his Terrifying Travels through the Deep Mountain to the Silver King’s Shimmering Silver Castle, Describing the Peculiar Saga about the Silver Valley King Himself and His Son Sølve the Blithe, and the Battle They Fought against the Hated Flock of Fendelhorg Shaped Fearful Figures in the Battle for the Silver Valley!)

The puppeteer and the puppets don’t always agree on what will happen, an effect meant to create funny situations.

In 2008 Fendelhorgens flokk got the memorial award of Birgit Strøm (Birgit Strøms Minnepris). Unima explains the award like this: "This is a visually thorough performance with good rhythm and precise timing. It communicates with its audience and gets us to use our own imaginations in continuing the fantasy world the performance tells about. The performance has a consistent conceptual line of thinking, while it is surprising. The relationship between the role of the storyteller, the actor and the puppeteer is balanced and the switches are made with a large degree of self-depreciation."
