The stories in Short Shows by Dekkoart seemingly are based in the small dilemmas of life, but if one digs slightly underneath the surface the big subjects are absolutely touched. No problem is too small to be of significance.
Short Shows is the puppetry theatre’s response to the short films or the short story of literature. Mutual features for all stories are that they last for 12 minutes, all of them are without text, with music, and all are based on the character Edwin. Edwin is the gestalt of the human being experiencing the details of life for better and not so good days.
Short Shows was produced with support from The Norwegian Culture Fund.
