Der borte
The Open Theatre (Det Åpne Teater) celebrated its 20 year anniversary during The Ibsen Festival 2006, and produced a special evening performance including the world premiere of Jon Fosse’s Der borte (Over There), specially written for the occasion and directed by Kai Johnsen: An elderly married couple is out walking. They are on their way to a mountaintop, there, there, far away. The one they have always talked about climbing. Together. For the first time. For the last time?
Der borte (Over There) at The Open Theatre (Det Åpne Teater) was supported by Telenor.
