The action in Bjarne Robberstad’s play Hindu Kush goes like this: A Norwegian soldier is captured by local militia after an American helicopter is shot down over Afghanistan. Some days later his fiancé Agnete comes to Kabul to search for him. In the city she meets a Norwegian ex-soldier, Erik, who plans to start a security firm in the Afghan city. Agnete understands that Erik is attracted to her and tries to take advantage by telling him that the missed soldier is her brother. While her hopes to see her fiancé again gradually fade, Agnete is confronted with her own lies and outer political conflicts.
