More

The Wedding Dress by Klovholt & Kahn is about Adeleide’s thoughts and hallucinations in the minutes from the car hits her until she dies. During these minutes she speculates, romanticises and rewrites the intrigues of her life and the events which may have led to her death. It is about her husband, her sister and her confidante, the ghost of the prostitute Madame Clessi.

Eventually, gradually, she realises that her life may have been banal, random, insignificant and ugly. And that the impossible project of finding the incomprehensive connection between reality and fiction may be life itself.

"If one is able to dream, one is also able to become very unhappy", Klovholt & Kahn write about The Wedding Dress.
